內容簡介
《來自北國》以溫情慈愛的筆觸，描寫家庭親情之愛，人性之愛。因妻子外遇而離婚的黑板五郎，帶著一對兒女從東京來到充滿田園風光的北海道富良野生活。影片細膩地描寫他們在北方富良野的田園生活和愛情，以及從學校走入社會工作，成家立業，生兒育女。劇中人物儘管有各種不如意的生活經歷和自己無法掌控的現實，但他們最終都能戰勝所面臨的逆境，更加理解身邊的人和事。本劇為名編劇倉本聰的代表作品，共有24集連續劇以及8個特別篇，連續劇版於1981年10月09日－1982年03月26日，在富士電視台逢每星期五播出，在大受歡迎之下並於1983年起至2002年間，由原班製作人員和演員推出了8部特別版，到2002年推出的《2002遺言》，才為全系列畫下了句點。台灣在1980年代日片尚未開放時期，曾以金鐘獎外片觀摩名義，於中視及台視分別播出過《’83冬》與《’89帰郷》兩部特別篇，2004年12月5日起由八大綜合台於每週六、日，將本劇全系列以中文配音方式播出，2006年6月1日起，則由太陽衛視於每週一至週五播出中文配音版。中國大陸1980年代中期曾引進播出連續劇版24集，譯名則為《北國情》。後大陸中央電視台曾對特別篇以配音和重新剪接為30集後，於2004年10月17日～11月19日在CCTV8「佳藝劇場」時段播出。除此之外，連續劇和特別版也曾於1990年代中期，在衛視中文台播出。

另外本劇與倉本聰近期撰寫的另外兩部電視劇《溫柔時光》與《風之花園》，
由於故事背景地點相同之故，於近年並稱為倉本作品中的「富良野三部曲」。

Synopsis:

From The Northern Country was a drama set in Furano which ran for 18 years with the same main 3 characters. This drama depicted the big love of a small family and enchanted viewers of all ages. As a result, this drama maintained popularity for its entire length with Furano’s popularity and culture largely being inspired by this show, with the opposite true as well. Furano’s popularity and atmosphere is hard to describe but must be experienced. From The Northern Country utilized Furano’s nature and four distinct seasons to create a memorable show. This drama has left an indelible mark on Furano with buildings and set from the show still around town, now as major landmarks. This show has been shown around some other countries including Taiwan where it has proven to be extremely popular.
